Epicor ERP Analyst
Location: Remote
Compensation:
$80,000 to $105,000 plus bonus.
Summary
This role collaborates cross-functionally to implement, maintain, and optimize ERP and integrated applications that support operational and strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will proactively ensure systems are secure, high-performing, and aligned with enterprise goals while modeling the organization’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ERP projects, updates, and upgrades, including planning and executing user acceptance testing.
- Identify system improvement opportunities and lead efforts to optimize ERP performance and user adoption.
- Maintain integration points between ERP and third-party systems; ensure data integrity and system interoperability.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical application roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and SOPs.
- Oversee third-party vendors and consultants delivering application-related services, ensuring alignment with IT policies and timelines.
- Provide ongoing application support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in line with ITIL standards.
- Develop, customize, and maintain ERP platform solutions, including reports, dashboards, screen modifications, and business process automation.
- Design and implement database structures and maintenance protocols to support application development.
- Participate in change control processes and represent the application layer during system modifications.
- Provide mentorship, onboarding support, and performance feedback to internal team members, where applicable.
- Offer operational support to end users and act on system alerts or anomalies to maintain service continuity.
- Champion IT and organizational policies around security, compliance, and data integrity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on ERP experience with a preference for candidates familiar with leading mid-market ERP systems.
- Experience with custom reporting and automation tools, including BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and SSRS or similar reporting platforms.
- Proficiency in development tools and languages such as SQL, C#, PowerShell, and Angular. Experience with MS SQL Server preferred.
- Knowledge of application security protocols, including compliance with data privacy regulations and digital safety frameworks.
- Experience working within ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships, plan resource allocation, and lead change initiatives.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Capable of driving projects independently while collaborating in a cross-functional environment.
