Senior HR Manager - Corporate
Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 base +10% Bonus
Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Tuesday through Thursday)
Position Overview
A publicly traded manufacturing company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Human Resources Manager to support corporate business functions and lead key enterprise HR initiatives. This role is ideal for a high-accountability HR leader who thrives in dynamic environments, drives organizational effectiveness, and partners closely with leadership to elevate talent and performance.
This position combines HR business partnership responsibilities with enterprise-wide HR project leadership, offering the opportunity to influence both day-to-day people operations and broader organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned corporate functions.
- Lead and support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Partner with leaders to assess organizational needs, identify talent gaps, and implement workforce planning strategies.
- Facilitate talent reviews and performance calibration discussions.
- Coach leaders on team effectiveness, performance management, and organizational development.
- Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Ensure consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and processes.
Enterprise HR Initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead or support enterprise-wide HR initiatives related to talent management, organizational effectiveness, change management, and process optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption of HR programs and organizational change efforts.
- Use HR metrics and insights to support business decisions and improve outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives including workforce planning, integration efforts, and leadership development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner experience supporting corporate or professional functions.
- Strong background in employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching.
- Demonstrated success leading HR initiatives with measurable business impact.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- High level of professionalism and discretion handling confidential matters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR analytics tools.
- Background supporting organizations experiencing growth, transformation, or integration.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, etc.) preferred.
