Vice President of Human Resources
Location: West Chicago Suburbs - Hybrid Schedule (Onsite Tuesday-Wednesday)
Compensation:
$225,000 to $285,000 base salary plus 45% LTIP
Position Overview
Provide global leadership, management, and direction to the Human Resources function. Responsible for directing all people-related functions of the organization in accordance with corporate policies, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization’s human capital initiatives.
- Participate in the development of organizational plans and programs as a strategic partner, with particular focus on the impact on people. Serve as a member of the executive leadership team as needed.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, new programs/strategies, and regulatory changes as they relate to talent attraction, motivation, development, and retention.
- Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
- Manage the budget and other financial measures of the HR department.
- Develop staffing strategies and programs to identify and attract talent at all levels.
- Design and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs to support performance, motivation, and retention.
- Monitor market competitiveness of HR programs and practices.
- Establish and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure a welcoming environment for employees of all backgrounds.
- Build human resource planning models to identify skill and knowledge gaps and implement succession planning, training, and development programs.
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance on labor and employee relations.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee HR information systems and reporting for data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate HR activities, programs, and strategies across business units.
- Stay current on HR policies, trends, laws, and best practices.
- Manage relocation, employee communication, safety, health, and community relations initiatives.
- Lead all HR-related communications.
- Serve as a member of the Compliance team.
- Continuously improve HR programs, policies, and processes to align with organizational goals.
- Evaluate HR structure and enhance professional and personal growth opportunities for staff.

Minimum Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to implement training and professional development programs that align with organizational needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with both strategic and operational responsibilities in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- HR certification preferred.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
